Try experimental features in the Google app

You can try experimental features in the Google app before they're released with Labs.

Get access to Labs

To try experimental features in the Google app, you need to sign up as a beta tester for the Google app. Learn how to sign up for beta testing.

Important: Experimental features in Labs are only available in the Google app on an Android phone or tablet.

Turn experimental features on or off

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google app Google Search.
  2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial and then Settings and then Labs Labs.
  3. Turn experimental features on or off.

Share feedback on experimental features

Google doesn't offer support for experimental features, but you can give us feedback to help us continue to improve.

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google app Google Search.
  2. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or initial and then Settings and then Labs Labs.
  3. Below the feature that you want to submit feedback about, tap Send feedback.
  4. Fill out the form.
  5. To review your feedback, tap Submit.
  6. Choose whether to include a screenshot and logs. Uncheck the boxes to remove them from your feedback.
  7. At the top right, tap Send "".
