Changes do not appear in the audit trail when you click a link in an email message or filter the audit trail in Prodiance ACM version 5.5.1 - Microsoft Support [MS]


You view the audit trail for a file in Prodiance Audit & Control Manager (ACM) version 5.5.1. When you click a link in an email message or filter the audit trail, changes do not appear in the audit trail even though the audit trail contains the following changes:

  • Cell format changes

  • Worksheet protection changes

  • Workbook protection changes


This problem occurs because of an issue with the filter for the audit trail.


To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

  1. Stop the services that are running on the Prodiance application server.

  2. Connect to the associated database, and then run the AuditTrailFunctions.sql script that is provided in the hotfix that is described in the "Hotfix information" section.

  3. Start the application services.

Note The SQL script AuditTrailFunctions.sql updates the AuditTrailEntriesCount and AuditTrailEntries functions that are used in the filtering of audit trail records. You must have permissions to run scripts against the database to apply the hotfix.
