Note Always test code fixes in a controlled environment before you apply the fixes to your production computers.
To resolve this problem, follow these steps:

  1. Change the code in the TransferFromBOMWkshLine function in the table (5767) as follows:

    Existing code

    ...
    TransferFromShptLine(WhseShptLine);
    "Kit Item No." := WhseShptLine."Item No.";
    IF WhseShptLine."Build Kit" THEN BEGIN
    "Item No." := KitSalesLine."No.";
    "Source Subline No." := KitSalesLine."Line No.";
    END;
    ...

    Replacement code

    ...
    TransferFromShptLine(WhseShptLine);
    "Kit Item No." := WhseShptLine."Item No.";
    IF WhseShptLine."Build Kit" THEN BEGIN
    "Item No." := KitSalesLine."No.";

    // Add the following line.
    "Source Type":=DATABASE::"Kit Sales Line";
    // End of the added line.

    "Source Subline No." := KitSalesLine."Line No.";
    END;
    ...
  2. Change the code in the RegisterWhseItemTrkgLine function codeunit (7307) as follows:

    Existing code

    ...
    TempTrackingSpecification."Source Subtype" := WhseActivLine2."Source Subtype";
    TempTrackingSpecification."Source ID" := WhseActivLine2."Source No.";
    IF (WhseActivLine."Source Type" = DATABASE::"Prod. Order Component") OR

    // Delete the following lines.
    // (WhseActivLine."Source Subline No." <> 0) THEN BEGIN
    ((WhseActivLine."Source Type" = DATABASE::"Sales Line") AND (STRLEN(WhseActivLine."Kit Item No.") > 0))
    THEN BEGIN
    // End of the deleted lines.

    TempTrackingSpecification."Source Prod. Order Line" := WhseActivLine2."Source Line No.";
    TempTrackingSpecification."Source Ref. No." := WhseActivLine2."Source Subline No.";
    END ELSE BEGIN
    TempTrackingSpecification."Source Prod. Order Line" := 0;
    ...

    Replacement code

    ...
    TempTrackingSpecification."Source Subtype" := WhseActivLine2."Source Subtype";
    TempTrackingSpecification."Source ID" := WhseActivLine2."Source No.";
    IF (WhseActivLine."Source Type" = DATABASE::"Prod. Order Component") OR

    // Add the following line.
    (WhseActivLine."Source Subline No." <> 0) THEN BEGIN
    // End of the added line.

    TempTrackingSpecification."Source Prod. Order Line" := WhseActivLine2."Source Line No.";
