Note: This topic describes features in new Yammer. For information on using this feature in classic Yammer, see What's in the Yammer Discovery feed?.
The purpose of the Yammer Home Feed is to help you keep up with what's happening in your organization. It's useful for finding out what your leadership team, coworkers, and people in other departments are talking about.
The Home Feed shows you the most relevant conversations related to communities you're connected to, people you're close to, and what's trending across your company.
Communities you're connected to includes communities you're a member of, communities where you've viewed messages, and communities that you've posted in.
People you're close to uses data from Microsoft 365 and Yammer, and includes people who have written messages you've liked or replied to, people you've communicated with in a private message, people you've invited to a group, and people who you follow.
Trending messages are recent messages that have many likes or replies.
SharePoint News messages that you have access to are included in your Yammer Home Feed.
