Switch calendars in Teams for personal use [MS]

In Teams, you can easily switch to your Google calendar from the default Outlook calendar.

When you switch to Google calendar, your existing Teams meetings are saved to your Outlook calendar, and you can access them from outlook.com or the Outlook app. Once you're connected to Google calendar, all your new Teams meetings will be saved to your Google calendar.

Note: Only your default calendar is imported. Sub calendars will not be imported.

To switch Teams to your Google calendar:

  1. Open Microsoft Teams.

  2. Select the Calendar tab.

  3. Select your email address at the top of the screen, then select Switch calendar.

  4. Follow the prompts to authenticate and connect to your Google calendar. When connected, you will see a Google logo and your Google email address at the top of the Calendar tab.

You can switch back to your Outlook calendar at any time, but you can only have one calendar at a time active in Teams. After you switch back from Google calendar to go back to Outlook calendar, your Google data remains synced to Microsoft apps and services and will be available on other apps you consented. If you have not consented to any other apps, the data will be deleted in 30 days.
