Reach intranet content with SharePoint for Android. Read news from your organization, find people and content and get back to your recent and saved files and news.
Download and Sign In
Once you've downloaded the app from the Google Play Store, sign in to SharePoint to access content from your device.
When you launch the SharePoint app, you might be asked to add an account. Adding a SharePoint account to SharePoint for Android follows the same steps as signing in to Microsoft 365. If this is your first time signing in to Microsoft 365, you can read more in Where to sign in to Microsoft 365.
The SharePoint mobile app will soon support custom branding for organizations that have customized theming via the Microsoft 365 admin center. This means your organization's logo and colors can show up in the mobile app experience as they do on the web experience. Service admins can customize the theme for your organization.
This feature will be introduced soon to organizations that have opted in to the Targeted Release program. This means that you may not yet see this feature or it may look different than what is described in the help articles.
Find, save, read, share, like and comment
The Find tab provides an intranet content collaboration hub for mobile devices.
Take action on content in the Quick access and Recent files sections
Get to sites from the Frequent sites and Featured links sections. Find sites you follow from More sites
To find any SharePoint content, tap next to the magnifying glass
Visit the Me tab for recent and saved content.

SharePoint for Android requires Android 4.4 (KitKat) or later. It's compatible with Android tablets and phone devices. The app can connect to SharePoint in Microsoft 365 (Enterprise, Education, Government and DvNext), SharePoint Server 2013 and SharePoint 2016. Windows authentication (NTLM) and Forms Based Authentication are supported for SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Server 2013, also referred to as On-Premises. For On-Premises, we do not support: ADFS, Kerberos, Basic Authentication, Digest Authentication, self signed SSL or Multiple Authentication types in one zone. For the best experience, Office Graph must be enabled for your account and your organization. Office Graph is turned off for you, individually, when you turn off Delve for your account. To check if Delve, and therefore Office Graph, is turned off for your account, see Can I turn off Delve?Also, Microsoft 365 administrators control access to the Office Graph for the entire organization.
