Present from PowerPoint in Microsoft Teams [MS]

Note: On PowerPoint for Windows and Mac OS, this feature is limited to the following SKUs: Office 365 A3, Office 365 A5, Office 365 E3, Office 365 E5, Office 365 Government G3, Office 365 Government G5, and Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise.

As our work environment evolves from having co-located teams to having all or mostly remote members, products like Microsoft Teams become an important tool for collaborating effectively. However, presenting from PowerPoint in Microsoft Teams could be complicated. With the Present in Teams feature in PowerPoint, even if you're not in the same room as your audience, sharing your presentation is no less easy or intuitive than if you were. 

Present in Teams from PowerPoint

  1. Join a Teams meeting or an ad-hoc Teams call.

  2. Open your presentation in PowerPoint.

  3. Click Present in Teams in the top right corner.

    Your presentation appears in Microsoft Teams for you and all participants in the meeting.

Requirements

In order to use this feature, you'll need to:

  • Have the latest Microsoft Teams desktop app installed.

  • Save the presentation on OneDrive for Business or SharePoint.

  • Join a Microsoft Teams meeting before clicking the Present in Teams button in PowerPoint.

  1. Join a Teams meeting or an ad-hoc Teams call.

  2. Open your presentation in PowerPoint.

  3. Click Present in Teams in the top right corner.
