Use bulksheets to create, manage, and apply labels - Search Ads 360 Help [gg-searchads-en]

Create and apply labels

Use bulksheets to create, manage, and apply labels

You can use bulksheets to do any of the following:

  • Create labels
  • Change and remove labels
  • Apply and remove labels for Search Ads 360 objects

Create labels

  1. Download the Label bulksheet template.
  2. Open the template and enter information in each column as follows:
    • Row type: enter Label.
    • Action: enter Create.
    • Label: enter the new label you want to add.
    • Label ID: leave it blank. Search Ads 360 will generate an ID when you upload the spreadsheet.
  3. Navigate to an advertiser, click Uploads in the left navigation panel, and upload the bulksheet to Search Ads 360.
Note: The uploaded labels will be available to all engine accounts in the advertiser you navigated to. Even if you select a specific engine account in the upload settings, or even if you select Multiple Advertisers and Engine Accounts, the label will be available to all engine accounts in the current advertiser.

Change and remove labels

  1. Download a report of existing labels:
    1. Navigate to an advertiser. Then click Labels in the left nav.
    2. Click the download icon Download icon, which appears above the reporting table.
  2. Open the bulksheet and change or remove a label as described below.
  3. Upload the bulksheet to Search Ads 360.

Change an existing label

  1. In the Action column, change the value to Edit.
  2. You can change the value in the Label column. All Search Ads 360 objects that are assigned this label will be updated.
  3. Leave the other columns unchanged. For example, don't change the value in the Label ID column.

Remove a label

In the Status column, change the value to Removed.
Leave the other columns unchanged. For example, don't change the value in the Label ID column.

Restore a removed label

If remove a label, you can restore it later. All of the label associations will also be restored (that is, the label will be applied to items just as it was when you removed the label).

  1. Download a report of all existing labels, including removed labels:
    1. Navigate to an advertiser. Then click Labels in the left nav.
    2. From the Show list that appears above the reporting table, change All but removed to Show all.
    3. Click the download icon Download icon, which appears above the reporting table.
  2. Open the bulksheet and find the removed label. Its Status column will contain Removed.
  3. In the Status column, change Removed to Active.
  4. Upload the bulksheet to Search Ads 360.

Apply and remove labels for Search Ads 360 objects

You can use a bulksheet to apply labels to an object (campaign, ad group, ad, or keyword) and remove labels from an object.

  1. Download a report that contains the objects you want to label.
For example, download a keyword report.
  2. Open the bulksheet and apply or remove labels as described below.
  3. Upload the bulksheet to Search Ads 360.

Apply a label to an object

In the row for the object, enter the label name in the Label column. Labels are case-sensitive, so be sure to match the capitalization of the label you want to apply. For example, Search Ads 360 considers Summer and summer to be two different labels.

When you upload the file, Search Ads 360 will apply the label to the object.

If the name you enter is not an existing label, Search Ads 360 will automatically create the label. Note that labels are case-sensitive, so if the name you enter doesn't exactly match an existing label, Search Ads 360 will create a new one.

Apply a label to a new object

In the row for the new object, enter the label name in the Label column. When you upload the file, Search Ads 360 will create the new object and apply the label to it.

Apply multiple labels to an object

Enter the label names, separated by | (bars), in the Label column. When you upload the file, Search Ads 360 will apply all of the labels to the object.

Apply additional labels to an object

If an object already has labels and you want to add more, you'll need to include the original labels in the Label column. For example, the keyword chicago flights has the label air travel midwest applied to it. To add flights as a label but also keep the existing label, enter flights|air travel midwest in the Label column.

Remove specific labels from an object

To remove specific labels that are applied directly to an object, remove the labels from the Label column. For example, for the keyword chicago flights, the Label column contains flights | air travel midwestsummer sale. To remove the flights and summer sale labels but keep air travel midwest, change the Label column to air travel midwest.

Remove all labels from an object

To remove all labels that are applied directly to an object, replace the contents of the Label column with remove_content.

Note that remove_content does not remove inherited labels. For example, any labels that a keyword inherits from an ad group or campaign will still apply. Only those labels that were applied directly to the keyword will be removed.

'Google Account already exists' error - Google Workspace Admin Help [gg-a-en]

'Google Account already exists' error

If you receive an error message (such as, "Google Account already exists") as you're trying to set up your first Google administrator account, it means that the email address is already associated with another Google service (such as an AdWords account). This is called a conflict account, and you will need to use a different email address to set up an administrator account and verify your domain for your Google service.

Follow these steps to work around the conflicting account during sign up:

  1. Sign up for your Google service with a new username at your domain.
    • You should have access to this email address at your domain. Make sure that it isn't already associated with an AdWords or another Google Account.
  2. After you sign up for your Google service, you will receive a confirmation email. Click the link in the email to set up your first administrator account. Enter the new username from step 1 as the initial administrator.
  3. Follow the sign up directions to verify your domain.
  4. After you've verified your domain, you can create an administrator account using the original email address (where you received the error message) and remove admin privileges from the first Google administrator you set up.
  5. You can now add additional users and manage your domain.

After you've set up your domain, we recommend you resolve your conflicting account.

Apply, remove, or replace labels - Search Ads 360 Help [gg-searchads-en]

Create and apply labels

Apply, remove, or replace labels

When you apply a label to a campaign, ad group, ad, or keyword, that item will be included in the label's reporting data. Then you can see reports that span the traditional engine account/campaign/ad group structure.

If you apply a label to an ad, the ad's reporting data is not included in the label's summary report. For example, if you apply a label named "September sale" only to ads, when you click Labels in the left navigation panel, the "September sale" row in the reporting table shows zero for all metrics. If you click the label name and then click the Ads tab, you'll see metrics for the ads.

Labels are inherited, so when you apply a label to a campaign, Search Ads 360 also applies the label to the ad groups, keywords, and ads in the campaign. Any new ad groups, keywords, or ads that you add to the campaign will also inherit the label.

You can do any of the following to apply a label from the Search Ads 360 UI:

  • Apply one or more labels. The labels you specify will be added to any labels that are already applied. Search Ads 360 doesn't duplicate labels, so if a specified label is already applied to an item, Search Ads 360 skips the item.
  • Remove one or more labels
  • Replace all labels currently applied with a different set of labels.

Immediate or scheduled

You can use the UI to change labels immediately or on a schedule. For example, you can set up a schedule that labels a group of keywords at midnight to coincide with the launch of a promotion. Then you can run automated rules that operate on the labeled keywords.

Specific items or all items currently in scope

If you set up a schedule, the way you identify items for labeling becomes important:

  • Select specific items: If you select checkboxes next to items in a reporting table, only those items will be updated. Even if you add new items before the schedule runs, only the items you specifically selected will be affected.
  • All items currently in scope: You can narrow the scope (for example, navigate to a specific campaign) and optionally apply filters to specify criteria for applying labels. All items that match the scope and filters will be updated. If you add items before the schedule runs and some of the new items match the criteria, then the new items will be affected as well.

Apply, remove, or replace labels

  1. Identify the campaigns, ad groups, or other items you want to label:

    1. Navigate to the tab that contains the items you want to label.
For example, navigate to a campaign and click the Keywords tab.

    2. Optionally filter the reporting table to contain only the items you want to label.

    3. Optionally select the checkboxes next to specific items for labeling.

  2. In the toolbar above the table, click Edit ▾ and select Change label.

  3. The panel where you can select a label appears.

  4. Make the following selections in the edit panel:

    • Applies to:

      • Selected items: Only the specific selected items will be updated.

      • All items across all pages or matching the filter: All items that match the scope and filters at the time the labeling operation runs will be updated.

    • Change label: Choose one of the following :

      • Add: Applies the label you select and keeps any labels that are currently applied.

      • Remove: Removes the labels you select and keeps any other labels that are currently applied.

      • Set to: Applies the label you select and removes any other labels that are currently applied directly to the item. (All inherited labels remain applied.)

    • Select labels: Select existing labels or click Create New to create a new one.

    • Start: Select Immediately to apply the label now, or select another option to schedule the label application.

  5. Click Save. Then click Yes, I understand in the confirmation prompt.
You can confirm that the label was applied by adding the Labels or All labels column to the reporting table.

Other ways to apply labels

  • When you create keywords in the Search Ads 360 UI, you can specify one or more labels to apply to the new keywords.
  • If you're already using a bulksheet to upload a new campaign or keywords, you can apply labels for each item in the bulksheet. Bulksheets also help you copy and paste labels between accounts or use formulas to generate labels.

The Google Ads policy on inaccurate and unclear ads will change around mid-May. The change will prohibit the use of phone numbers in ad headlines and in Sitelinks extensions for text ads. This change will affect all countries. We made this decision to further uphold our belief that users should always know where they're being directed after clicking on one of our ads. Phone numbers in the hyperlinked headline or Sitelink extension of a text ad are confusing to users who may be expecting to be led to a call session as opposed to a website. After the new policy goes into effect, the inaccurate and unclear ad policy page will be updated to reflect this change.

How to use the function keys on your Mac - Apple Support

How to use the function keys on your Mac

You can use the top row of keys on your Apple keyboard as controls for built-in Mac features or as standard function keys.

Control features on your Mac

By default, the top row of keys on your Apple keyboard control many different features on your Mac. For example, pressing the keys with speaker icons adjusts the volume.

illustrated diagram of MacBook Air function keys

If your Mac has a Touch Bar, learn about using function keys on MacBook Pro with Touch Bar.

Use standard function keys

Standard function keys work differently depending on the app and the keyboard shortcuts that you've set up. Some apps have their own keyboard shortcut preferences that you can customize.

To use the standard function keys, hold the Function (Fn)/Globe key  when pressing a function key. For example, pressing both Fn and F12 (speaker icon) performs the action assigned to the F12 key instead of raising the volume of your speakers.

If your keyboard doesn't have an Fn key, try pressing and holding the Control key when pressing a function key.

Change the default function key behavior

If you want to change the top row of keys to work as standard function keys without holding the Fn key, follow these steps:

  1. Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences.
  2. Click Keyboard.
  3. Select "Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys".

If you don't see 'Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys'

If you don't see 'Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys', you might be using a keyboard not made by Apple. These keyboards might need a utility to change the keyboard functions. Check with your keyboard manufacturer for more information.

Safari & Privacy - Apple Support

Safari & Privacy

Safari is designed to protect your information and enable you to choose what you share.

Use Safari settings to remove and block data that websites can use to track you in Safari. To view these preferences, choose Settings > Safari.

Prevent Cross-Site Tracking

Some websites use third-party content providers. A third-party content provider can track you across websites to advertise products and services.

With this option turned on, tracking data is periodically deleted unless you visit the third-party content provider.

Fraudulent Website Warning

When Fraudulent Website Warning is enabled, Safari will display a warning if the website you are visiting is a suspected phishing website. Phishing is a fraudulent attempt to steal your personal information, such as user names, passwords, and other account information. A fraudulent website masquerades as a legitimate one, such as a bank, financial institution, or email service provider. Before visiting a website, Safari may send information calculated from the website address to Google Safe Browsing to check if the website is fraudulent. For users with China mainland set as their region in Settings > General > Language and Region, Safari may also use Tencent Safe Browsing to do this check. The actual website address is never shared with the safe browsing provider. These safe browsing providers may also log your IP address when information is sent to them. You can disable Fraudulent Website Warnings in Safari at any time by going to Settings > Safari, then sliding the Fraudulent Website Warning switch to off.

Private Browsing

When Private Browsing is enabled, Safari doesn't remember the pages you visit, AutoFill information, and your open tabs aren't stored in iCloud. Websites can't modify information stored on your device, so services normally available at such sites may work differently until you turn off Private Browsing.

Note: While Private Browsing is enabled, the address bar appears dark instead of light.

Check for Apple Pay

When you are in an app or on a website that uses Apple Pay on an iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, they can check if you have Apple Pay enabled on that device. You may disable websites you visit from checking if Apple Pay is enabled at any time by going to the Check for Apple Pay setting on your iOS or iPadOS device in Settings > Safari > Privacy and Security.

By using these features, you agree and consent to Apple's and its subsidiaries' and agents' transmission, collection, maintenance, processing, and use of this information as described above.

Webpage Translation

Safari analyzes each webpage you visit to determine its language. This determination is made entirely on your device. If the webpage can be translated to any of your preferred languages, you can choose to translate it. If you translate, Safari will send the webpage's contents (including the full text) to Apple's servers for translation. After the translation is complete, Apple will discard the contents of the webpage.

If the webpage was not viewed in Private Browsing mode, then Safari will also send the webpage's address to Apple. Apple will store the address for up to five years to improve Apple's products, services, and technologies. Since Apple does not store the contents of webpages you translate, only publicly accessible webpages will be used to improve Apple's products, services, and technologies.

Webpage contents and addresses sent to Apple are not associated with your Apple ID, email address, or other data Apple may have from your use of other Apple services.

In order to provide you with a better browsing experience, after translating a particular webpage, other webpages you visit in the same domain that you visit within the same tab may also be translated. Safari will stop automatically translating when you visit a webpage that is no longer in the same original language, or a webpage on a different domain.

Information collected by Apple will be treated in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy, which can be found at www.apple.com/privacy

Information about products not manufactured by Apple, or independent websites not controlled or tested by Apple, is provided without recommendation or endorsement.
